Updating Plugins

One thing you can count on about software: by the time you purchase a new software package and take it

home,there’sprobablyalreadyanupdateavailableontheweb.Komplete5isnoexception.Thereareupdated

versionsofallthepluginsontheNativeInstrumentswebsite.Therearealsosomeupdatedlibraries.

Afteryou’dinstalledallthepluginsandlibrariesfromyourKomplete5DVDs,you’llprobablywanttoupdate

your plugins to the latest version. The following sections tell you how.

Download Updates from Native Instruments

1 Go to the Native Instruments website and click the Updates link.

2 Log In with your username and password

You’ll be presented with your Personal Update Manager page.

3 In the drop-down updates lists, select Komplete 5 and Win, then click Send.

Remember, even if you’re using a Macintosh, Receptor runs the Windows versions of plugins, which is why you only

want to download and install plugins made for Windows.
